Clean Slate.

  • Learn how to warm up, wrap hands, make a tight fist.
  • Learn proper stance and footwork.
  • Learn the basic punches, kicks to start, then move on to knees, elbows, etc. 
  • Learn how to use the low kick pads and Thai pads.
We offer:

3 FUNDAMENTALS  PAD WORK classes per week

4 FUNDAMENTALS  TECHNIQUES classes per week

What you will need:

Size of the gloves depends on weight. Coban recommends the following:

  • 14 oz  or 12 oz gloves:  For less than 150+ lbs 

  • 16 oz gloves:  For 150 +  lbs

What to wear:

  • T-shirt or tank top is required.   

  • Loose fitting shorts to have room for blocks and kicks.

  • Long pants are not allowed due to safety reasons.  Your partner's fingers may get caught in the fabric during drills.

Our Fundamentals to MuayThai classes are taught by our experienced Team Coban Coaches..  Sometimes, Coban treats his students by teaching a Fundamentals class.
